Egyptian superstar, Tamer Hosny will conclude the 23rd edition of the ASBU Radio and TV Festival, on Thursday, June 15. Tamer Hosny, an Egyptian superstar, will perform the 23rd edition of the ASBU Radio and TV Festival on Thursday, June 15. The festival aims to achieve several objectives, including contributing to the development of Arab radio and TV production and enhancing its quality. Hosny began his career when renowned TV presenter Salma Al Shamaa gave him his lifetime opportunity to perform at the Cairo Opera House. He has performed many shows in Egypt and other Arab countries, including Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Dubai, and Jordan. His first album, “Omar and Salma” and “Captin Hema”, was released in 2004.

Egyptian superstar, Tamer Hosny will conclude the 23rd edition of the ASBU Radio and TV Festival, on Thursday, June 15.
He is set to present several of his popular and latest songs.
The 23rd edition of the ASBU Festival is held under the slogan “Celebrating Arts and Culture” in the City of Culture, Tunis, from June 12-15.
The Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) organized the festival in partnership and cooperation with the Tunisian Ministry of Culture, the Tunisian Radio and TV Corporations, and the Arab Satellite Communications Organization (ARABSAT).
The festival aims to achieve several objectives, including contributing to the development of Arab radio and TV production and enhancing its quality to meet the aspirations of member corporations and reflect the principles that underpin their work.
It aims also to identify and encourage innovative and meaningful trends in radio and television production to develop Arab creative energies in this field.
Hosny, born on August 16, 1977, began his career when renowned TV presenter Salma Al Shamaa gave him his lifetime opportunity to perform at the Cairo Opera House.
During his performance, he worked alongside other rising talents including, Sherine Mohamed Abdel-Wahab; the performance was attended by renowned producer Nasr Mahrous.
Ever since, Hosny worked closely with Mahrous and released his first album, which consequently achieved great success and opened the gates of stardom and fame, not only in singing but also in the entertainment industry.
He made his acting debut in the 2004 film “Halet Hob”, co-starring Hany Salama, Hend Sabry, and others.
Hosny is known for singing “Kol Mara”, “Bent El Eh” and “Aktar Haga”, and for his roles in films such as “Omar and Salma” and “Captin Hema”.
The pop star performed many shows in Egypt and other Arab countries, including Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Dubai, and Jordan.
